October, Second Quarter!!!

Welcome to the second quarter. We are well underway. We have started a poetry unit in Writing, have started a new literature book, A Single Shard, are moving into biomes in Science and Ancient Egypt in Social Studies. In Math, the students are learning all about integers, fractions, decimals, percents, and a lot of other cool things.

The country projects were fantastic. I was very impressed with the students' presentations and props that they brought in. Great job everyone!

We will be having a field trip on December 16. We are going to the Biosphere 2. If you are interested in chaperoning, please let me know so we can get anything you need to be a chaperone in place. The cost will be $10 per person (chaperones must also pay for themselves). If you have any questions or concerns, let me know!

If you need to make an appointment, please call the office, 721-4205, and leave a message for me to call you back. I am available almost every morning for about 20 minutes between 8 and 8:30, and in the afternoons right after school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
