November!

Progress Reports have gone out today! They need to be back, signed by you. If you would like a copy for your own records, please let me know.

Some major things are going to be happening this last quarter. We have some big projects in Science, Reading and Social Studies that are due the next month. Ask your student to tell you all about it.

THANKSGIVING FEAST

Our class is responsible to bring in hot, cooked turkeys on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 23. Miss Thies will personally be making 2 turkeys to donate to the class. Please let me know if you can bring in a cooked turkey or a dollar or two towards the purchase of other turkeys.

BIOSPHERE 2 FIELD TRIP

All the 6th graders will be visiting the Biosphere 2. We are going on Thursday, December 16. It will be an all-day field trip. The cost is $10 per person. I do need 2-3 chaperones, please let me know if you are interested. You will be responsible for the $10 fee for yourself as well. Look for the permission slips coming early December.

We are putting on Egyptian plays!!!

All the 6th grade classes will be putting on plays about Ancient Egypt. Your students will be making invitations for this event. It will be Tuesday, December 14 at 1:00 PM. I hope you can all attend!
