Welcome back students! I am so pleased with the effort and hard work you have put in this past week, having come back from our break. I think you will be happy with the results that your persistence will show.
This quarter we are adding spelling to our list of things we are going to focus on. Every Friday, we will be taking a 20 word spelling test in addition to our 10 word vocabulary test. If you study every night, for a few minutes, you will do fine.
We have an animal project due on Tuesday, November 1. Don't forget to be working on your animal model at home! Again, I hope this quarter to be a rewarding and successful quarter for all of you.

- My classroom provides a safe environment for students to learn and grow. They are encouraged to work cooperatively with one another, and my small group environment provides opportunity to learn from each other. Regardless of what subject they are studying, students are always discovering and asking questions. I want to motivate my students and instill a desire for learning. I provide my students with opportunities to learn in exciting and meaningful ways through balanced literacy.
